Chemrec’s goal is to offer a specialized recycling service for used solvents, using state-of-the-art equipment and incorporating a unique high-technology industrial concept for environmental protection.
With its experienced multidisciplinary team, Chemrec guarantees unequalled customer service. Regular pick-ups are scheduled ahead of time, and all manifests, health and safety data sheets, laboratory reports, and transport placards are provided by Chemrec.
Chemrec is located in Cowansville, Quebec, about 70 kilometres from Montreal. The company s plant holds a certificate of authorization from the minist_re de l Environnement et de la Faune, granted in 1990.

Expertise
Chemrec has developed solvent recycling expertise, for both chlorine-containing solvents and nonchlorinated compounds:
- chlorinated hydrocarbons;
- aromatic solvents;
- alcohols;
- aliphatic solvents;
- new replacement solvents, NMP, ethyl lactate;
- esters;
- freon.

To help it achieve its quality objectives in a continuous improvement process and thereby continue to be the solution for your environmental problems, CHEMREC recently obtained ISO 9002 registration.
With the ISO 9002 standard, CHEMREC can better enforce its already stringent environmental protection measures.
Production inspections, checks on product quality and materials analyses ensure the high quality of the company s recycled products.
Evaluations of the degree of customer satisfaction are reviewed by management on a monthly basis, and any necessary corrective measures are taken.
