Free Conferences on Climate Change intended to Quebec’s enterprises

The Climate Reality Project Canada wishes to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) of Quebec to promote climate change awareness amongst their employees by offering free conferences on the subject until july 2014.

In order to perfectly address the needs in this area, the according presentations have been adapted to the entrepreneurial world and will help SMEs to implement greenhouse gases (GHG) reduction initiatives. Furthermore, the training session can be applied to directors as well as employees reality.

The conferences address two different topics:

  • Climate Change: Sciences, Impacts and Solutions
  • Climate Change: Risks and opportunities for Quebec’s SMEs

As a non-lucrative organization involving more than 6,000 volunteers, the Climate Reality Canada Project invites participants to those conferences for free and accepts voluntary contribution.

The Climate Reality Canada Project serves as the Canadian component of a global movement founded in 2007 by former US Vice President and Peace Nobel prized Al Gore. The Canadian section of this movement seeks to raise awareness among all Canadians about the urgency of the climate crises, by the means of training and promotion.
