With the collaboration of several experts in the field, including Enviro-access, municipalities and the Association qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise pour la ma\u00eetrise de l\u2019\u00e9nergie, this chapter was created to provide solutions and information for municipalities on possible methods to perform an inventory of their GHG emissions (corporate and community inventories).[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;1330&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; qode_css_animation=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=&#8221;&#8221; row_type=&#8221;row&#8221; use_row_as_full_screen_section=&#8221;no&#8221; type=&#8221;full_width&#8221; angled_section=&#8221;no&#8221; text_align=&#8221;left&#8221; background_image_as_pattern=&#8221;without_pattern&#8221;][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]This chapter will help municipalities to know what to consider in their action plan to reduce GHG emissions, what financial supports and what resources are available to them, and more. You can access this new chapter\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mamunicipaliteefficace.ca\/226-efficacite-energetique-ges-la-gestion-et-la-reduction-des-emissions-de-ges.html\">right here<\/a>\u00a0and start to equip yourself for the reduction of GHG emissions in your own municipality.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mamunicipaliteefficace.ca\/151-14-%C3%A9tudes-de-cas-charlemagne-elaboration-de-linventaire-des-ges-et-du-plan-daction-de-reduction-de-la-ville.html\">case study of the\u00a0<i>Ville de Charlemagne<\/i><\/a>\u00a0is also available online. It describes the city\u2019s success in the quantification and reduction of their GHG emissions and the methods used for this purpose.<\/p>\n<p>Enviro-access worked with 54 municipalities and Regional county municipalities of Quebec in the framework of the\u00a0<i>Climat municipalit\u00e9s<\/i>\u00a0program and assisted them in the elaboration of their first GHG emissions inventory and GHG reduction action plan.
