Certification for an organization was meant for any type of organization, from municipalities to private companies, as well as financial and educational institutions\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-6485ffb elementor-section-full_width qode_elementor_container_inner elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default parallax_section_no\" wishing to obtain the basic certification had to:<\/span><\/strong><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li>Carry out a <strong>GHG emissions inventory<\/strong> in compliance with ISO standard 14064-1, which must include at least direct GHG emissions and indirect emissions from imported energy. This inventory must have been performed by a firm recognized by Enviro-access <strong>OR<\/strong> have been audited, with a reasonable level of assurance, by an auditing firm accredited by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC). This GHG emissions inventory must have been carried out or reviewed by Enviro-access.<\/li><li>Provide tangible proof of the various initiatives that clearly demonstrate the organizer\u2019s<br \/>commitment to reduce the event\u2019s GHG emissions.<\/li><li>Sign an <strong>agreement<\/strong> regarding the logo\u2019s conditions of to obtain the compensated emissions certification for compensating its GHG emissions for a specific year had to, <strong>in addition to meeting the basic requirements,<\/strong> comply with the following additional requirements:<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li>Have compensated all direct GHG emissions and indirect emissions from imported energy detailed in the GHG inventory ending during the year for which the certification shall apply.
