The Université de Moncton is heavily involved in the research and development of new environmental technology. In response to a need for the conservation and adaptation of resources, value added and better environmental decision making tools, the Université de Moncton pursues research and promotes the transfer of technology, knowledge and expertise to industry and communities.
The Université de Moncton has a large number of researchers working at both the national and international levels. Through an interdisciplinary research group, these researchers actively participate in the development of new technology and tools, in the analysis and research of scientific data in the environmental and sustainable development sectors.
