L'Université Laval is involved in the research and development of new environmental technology. In response to the need for conservation and resource development, l'Université Laval has set up an office for research development (BVAR). The purpose of this office is to assist l'Université in conducting research and to encourage the transfer of technology, knowledge and expertise to industry.
L'Université Laval has a large number of researchers working at the national and international levels. These researchers take an active part in the development of new technology, as well as in the analysis and research of environmental scientific data.
SERVICES OFFERED
- L'Université offers access to, and updating of, various environmental research data;
- Its personnel participates in the organization of an annual environmental industry conference for local researchers and industry which focuses on environmental technology research;
- Access to professors, researchers and students, as well as to the Université's research and development facilities.
