Research areas


Richard J. Munz works on thermal plasma technologies. He is especially interested in torch and reactor design. He also develops plasma technologies adapted to environmental problems, like destruction of wastes.

 
Previous environmental projects


1. Treatment of nuclear waste : development of silica and ceramic matrix enable to confine nuclear waste to be buried
2. Application of plasma technology for destruction of greenhouse gas emissions
