Company
Several companies in the field of construction and landscaping are found to be at the root of the Cintec Group.  Since 1986, a major project in Canada, in the Montreal area, lead the Group to orient its activities in the environmental sector. The project involved rehabilitation of a contaminated former industrial plant and the construction of a maximum security cell to encapsulate 750,000 m³ of contaminated soils. The project was completed in 1989.

In 1989, Cintec Environnement inc. obtained the authorization from the Ministry of Environment of Quebec to build and operate a new secure landfill site for contaminated soils. Operations at this site began in 1990 and is in operation to this date.

Site Rehabilitation, Management and Landfill of Contaminated Soils
The Cintec Group relies on criteria established by Quebec’s Ministry of the Environment for the soils to be disposed in its maximum security cell as well as the ones that can be decontaminated .
