The Carbon Care certification was awarded to 9 Québec municipalities and regional county municipalities

On September 26, Enviro-access awarded its Carbon CareTM certificattion to 9 Québec municipalities and regional county municipalities (RCM) at the Assises annuelles 2014 of the Fédération québécoise des municipalités (FQM). Enviro-access is proud to highlight, with this certification, the proactivity of those municipalities and RCM in the matter of greenhouse gases (GHG) management and reduction. To be awarded this certification, municipalities and RCM must prepare an inventory of their GHG emissions and commit themselves to reduce their GHG emissions.

Thereby, the following municipalities and regional county municipalities which received this honour:

  • RCM of Rocher-Percé
  • Municipality of Ascot-Corner
  • Municipality of Havre-Saint-Pierre
  • City of Chandler
  • Municipality of Saint-Gilles
  • Municipality of Stoke
